QUESTIONS? I’VE GOT ANSWERS.
-
Absolutely not. You will always make the final decision about every item. I'll never pressure or judge - my role is simply to guide, support, and help you think through what matters most to you.
-
That depends on your space, your goals, and how quickly you make decisions. After an initial visit, I can give you a good estimate of how many sessions might be needed. We'll go at your pace, with no rush
-
Yes, it would be beneficial for you to be home for the duration of our time together. Working side by side allows us to collaborate effectively. Your input is invaluable when deciding what to keep, donate, or discard, and it helps ensure that the final organization reflects your preferences and lifestyle. Also, I'll be sharing tools and tricks, and strategies for maintaining organization as we work together. Being present allows you to absorb these tips firsthand and ask questions in real-time. However, if there are parts of the process I can handle on my own (such as sorting non-sentimental categories), we can absolutely discuss that.

I'll help you find creative storage solutions or ways to prioritize what matters most. Together, we'll make sure the things you truly want to keep fit comfortably into your life and your home.
-
That's perfectly okay! We'll take things at your pace. If you aren't ready to let go of certain items, we can set them aside and revisit them later - or not at all. You are always in control.
-
Yes. Helping clients thoughtfully sort through belongings of loved ones is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. I approach this with great care and compassion. Together, we will honor memories while making decisions that feel right for you.
-
Yes - and please know that I come with absolutely no judgment. Every home has its own story. You will never be made to feel embarrassed or ashamed. My goal is to support and help you in a kind and respectful way.

Swedish Death Cleaning is a gentle, mindful process of going through your belongings - keeping what you love and letting go of what you no longer need. The idea is to ease your life now and make things simpler for loved ones later. And no - you do not have to be "old" to do this! It's a wonderful practice for anyone at any stage of life.
